Catherine Woodger

CV 2024

Catherine Woodger was born in Australia and attended school in London and Melbourne.

She has worked for many years as a festival performer and writer/director for numerous community cultural development projects. Catherine is now in her final year of the Advanced Diploma in Photography at Photography Studies College Melbourne.

With a background in storytelling, Catherine creates narrative based photographic works that explore the character in a particular place and time, often with an element of ambiguity and mystery.

Subjects are drawn from real life or inspired by historical or fictional events. Underlying her work is a fascination for the way humans interact with the world and create stories to give meaning to life.
